Summer is here

It has been pretty hot lately in Kansas City. My neighbor friend Mady and I love playing together and we decided the water playmat was a good idea one hot afternoon!

Memorial Day weekend we went to the Kansas City Zoo for my first time. I loved all of the animals and really loved riding the carousel!

May 22, 2011 my Auntie Randi graduated from high school. Mama, Daddy and I drove to Iowa for the weekend to help her celebrate. I loved seeing my Iowa family (a whole lot of them).

Visited Great Grandma Gaumer and Great Great Grandma McConnell for their birthdays, unfortunately we didn't get any pictures of the grandmas but here are some of me playing with my cousins in the backyard...

Auntie Randi's graduation ceremony was on Sunday afternoon, it was hot but I made it through and was a good girl, it helped that it wasn't as long as the one before (Uncle Jake's) and not at bedtime :)

Before we left to head back home we had a party to celebrate Auntie's accomplishments, we didn't get any pictures of the whole family because I was crabby and tired but Papa got some at the school that we will add sometime soon :)

Uncle Jake graduated

2 weekends ago Uncle Jake graduated from high school - woohoo! We had a party on Saturday for him and then the graduation ceremony was on Monday night at 7pm. Mama decided this was a special event and I got to go on Monday night even though I am normally in bed by 7 or 7:30. I was as good of a girl as I could be :) Here are some of our photos....

I pretty much have mastered the spoon and am working on the fork. I am very independent (bet you haven't heard that before) and need little to no help while eating.
