Another Graduation

Tori, Mama and Auntie Jen (you know the WAY awesome photographer I mean friend we have!) drove into "no man's land" to help Jessica celebrate her graduation from high school. Jessica's mom and Brandi are good friends and co-workers. We had great food, cake, and socializing while we were there..it was TOTALLY worth the 50 min one way drive :)

This past weekend Tori got to meet a new friend.

Brent & Kei Scholz introduced their new little guy - Jarrett Ross

He is an abosolute doll and we wanted to snatch him up and bring him home w/ us :)

Just hanging out enjoying some tummy time before bedtime tonight

 

This picture reminds me of either the football boys in their huddle or the little kid who always has to play in the outfield on their little league baseball team. Tonight while playing on the floor Tori wanted her legs to be up in the air and her hands on her knees the entire time. I thought it was picture worthy but I also am the Mom who has taken roughly 2000 pictures of her 4 month old!

Tori wants to roll over soooo bad. She did one time last Friday evening May 7th, 2010. She tries a lot but just can't get that bottom shoulder out of her way :) We will keep working on it and maybe sometime soon we can post a blog about how rolling over is old news!!

1st Official Playdate

 

Wed after school Tori and Mama went to Rylie's house to have our first official playdate. We had lots of fun playing on the floor w/ all of Rylie's toys..so much fun Mama forgot to take pics of us. This pic is one of us when we were getting ready to leave for Breastfeeding Support Group.

4 Months Old

Tori Elizabeth turned 4 months old on May 12th
She weighed in at 12 lbs 5 oz
We are taking her to her 4 month well visit on Monday the 17th and then we will see how big her head is and how long she is as well as percentiles for her age.
Keep her in your prayers on Monday as she also has to get another round of shots.

I absolutely love this kind of hat, however, it makes Tori look like someone else's child. She totally looks different when I put one on her, still cute as can be though!

Sigma Pi - Orchid Ball

I know this blog is mostly about the baby, however I did want to let everyone know that Bryan and I got away on Saturday and didn't come home till Sunday afternoon. We left Tori at her GiGi and Papa G's house while we went to Joplin for an annual event that we try really hard not to miss. Bryan's fraternity has a spring formal the first weekend in May. This is one of the few events Bryan goes back to MOSO for and we had a great time this year, again!
