A true Gripka

We have a carnivore on our hands..up until Easter dinner Tori would not eat any kind of meat..the only close to it was Gerber "meat" sticks..last night at dinner she kept pointing at something on my plate and saying please please..the only thing I had that she didn't have was ribs..and that is exactly what she wanted!!!

Bubbles

I LOVE bubbles and was SOOOOO excited when the Easter bunny brought me some. I am trying really hard to blow and not just stick the wand in my mouth but it is hard :)

Practice makes perfect

Mama and I got the plastic eggs out a couple of weeks ago in preparation for Easter. I love playing with them and practicing my egg hunting skills.

Parkville's Spring Jam

Tori was lovin' the music Saturday night downtown Parkville. She was such a good girl staying up WAY past her bedtime (normal time 7:30, we left the party at 9:30). She loved dancing, playing chase, saying "hi" to everyone and eating a snow cone for the first time. We will definitely be going back soon!!

Sunday Family Dinner

And so a tradition begins..every Sunday we have family dinner with Papa G, GiGi and Uncle Jake. Anyone "family" is welcome to come, no invitation needed, open door policy. The last few Sunday's we have went to GiGi's house for dinner. Tonight we decided we would go to Mimi's Cafe. Papa had to be out of town but Uncle Leg came tonight! I love hanging out with my family. Mimi's is doing a Mother's Day celebration and you can enter a picture of you/mother eating at the restaurant to win a chance at being in their Mother's Day celebration ads and a $50 gift card. GiGi, Mama and I took a picture tonight that we are going to enter..hope we win!

Sweet Baby Coralee

Remember back in October when we told you all about Baby Coralee (Parents: Corey and Jayme Merriman)?? Well...she came over last Wed night while her Mama/Daddy went on a date and I was a big helper while she was here. We played outside, went on a walk (what a sight to see - Mama had baby Coralee in my sling while I rode in the stroller - we think the neighbors were looking at us a little funny wondering when Mama had another baby - haha), we practiced sitting up alone, played with toys inside, had some tummy time and then it was time for both of us to go night night. That was when Mama firmly made up her mind she wasn't having anymore babies :) When CoCo (her nickname) would fuss I would cry, just as Mama would get me calmed down CoCo would fuss again and I would start crying. This bothered Mama mostly because I don't cry very often. She knew I was getting tired and expected me to be jealous but the beginning of the night went so jealous-free that Mama didn't know what to do. Best thing to do to a 14 month old when sleepy is get jammies on and get in bed. That is just what Mama did to me and I was out like a light, CoCo's cry didn't even bother me.

Spring Time

Just wanted to show off a cute outfit I wore last Sunday to Family Dinner at GiGi and Papa G's house..my first pair of capri's..even though they are a bit big in the waist right now I am sure before Summer ends they will fit just fine.

Flippy Flops

We love Summer time, the weather has finally been on our side and we are able to play outside without coats! I love playing outside but found out that flip flops are harder to play in than tennis shoes. Even though Mama thinks they are WAY cuter. I will keep trying them to see if I get any better wearing them.

Adyson's Birthday

I went to my friend Adyson's birthday party a couple of weeks ago (March 26th)..guess Mama is behind on downloading the pics..there were a lot of people there so I hung out with Daddy/Mama most of the time but here are some pictures from the fun day.
