After a visit to see Santa (I didn't like him and cried) I was all smiles for Mama and Daddy in my rocking chair by the Christmas tree.

O Christmas Tree

I got a pink Christmas tree from our friends Miss Julie Moise and her family. Mama promised she would put it up every year. Here is the tree all decorated with my ornaments so far.

Christmas with Papa & Grandma DeVore

Last weekend Papa and Grandma came to our house from Iowa to have Christmas a week early. They brought Randi, Austin and Tristen with them so I had a lot of fun! I was sick the entire week before with a double ear infection and virus so I wasn't much fun but by the time the weekend came I was feeling much better. I can't wait until the next time I get to hang out with them and play!

11 Months Old - take 2

Mama can't believe it is here already..only one more month and I am turning 1. Here's what's going on with me as I hit 11 months old.

*Walking!! I can take about 10 steps at a time and get from point A to B almost always with out falling.
*drops things and says "uh-oh"
*love to play in the kitchen cabinets
*drinks 4 - 6oz bottles
*goes to bed sleepy but awake and puts self to sleep
*still sleeping 12 hours a night
*takes 2 naps during the day
*gives Bertha "love" by laying my head on her - mama is trying to get that on the video camera :)
*I'm not really into taking pictures these days..I really love my Bear but could care less that Mama wants to take my picture and today I chose to have the diaper creme in the pictures with me.




I'm all done taking pics..time to get out of this chair..the dangerous way of course!!

11 Months Old - the actual day

Last Sunday I turned 11 months old. I was sick (and still am). Mama forgot to take my picture with Mr Bear in the Chair on Sunday because she was worried about me and trying to get ready for Auntie Jayme and Uncle Corey's wedding and Baby Coralee's baptism. I hope I get to see some more pictures later since I had to miss out on the celebrations.
I went to GiGi's house for the afternoon since I was sick and hung out with Uncle Jake and took a snooze with Papa G. I really love these two guys even though sometimes I don't always show it.

Bye Bye Casper Family

Our dear friends Chad, Corine and Ryder Casper are moving to Florida so before they left we had one last dinner with them at Tom Fooleries last night. Mama and GiGi took me since Daddy was out of town. Mama said I was a really good girl and I had a fun time playing with Ryder. We can't wait to see them again in January and hopefully we can visit them soon and play on the beach!

Funday Sunday

Or not so fun..our favorite Denver Broncos played the Kansas City Chiefs last Sunday and our team lost :(

I had fun playing with Mama and Daddy..we built towers with the wooden blocks and I found out I can see down into the living room from upstairs..I thought that was pretty cool!

My Mama bought this dress for me, I wore it one time and the arms were so tight it barely came off, that's when Mama took it to work and her co-worker Marsha fixed it up for me, I think it looks super cute with pink on the arms...

Tori's 1st Thanksgiving

November 24th, 2010

The Gripka's enjoyed our Thanksgiving at GiGi and Papa G's house this year with 30 family members and friends. Tori got lots of lovin', sometimes more lovin' than she acted like she wanted. We don't know but we guess it is hard to be a social butterfly when you are fighting an ear infection and having so many "strange" people want to hold you for 2 days. Even though she was not feeling well we still had a great time playing with cousins and hanging out with Grandparents and Aunties/Uncles.

Mama always dreamed of having a little blond curly haired baby girl...some people say Daddy had curls when he had hair..guess I will never be able to see for myself..but I may be taking after him..finally after 10 months I am starting to get some more hair and it seems to have some curl!!
