Party Time

I had a Ladybug Birthday Party!! I wasn't feeling well and needed a nap so you won't find me smiling in these pictures. Mama and brother had to help me open my presents. I was not interested in my ladybug cake and didn't want it all over my hands so Mama got me dressed and fork fed me a piece of cake!

Thank you to everyone who came to my party, I appreciate all of you traveling from far and near to help me celebrate turning one!!

Tori Elizabeth celebrated her 1st birthday! She started her special day out by having to stay home due to an illness the day before. We were planning to take her out to breakfast but since she still had a fever we decided to get her a donut from QT. She LOVED the blueberry cake donut her Daddy chose for her. She didn't want much to do with pictures first thing in the morning so the family one is not so good but after she ate breakfast she was much happier.






What Tori is up to these days...

Weighs 20 lbs 5 oz (36th Percentile)

Height 28 3/4 inches (50th Percentile)

Can say Da-Da, Ma-me, baby, uh-oh, tank-u (thank you), and me-me (mine or more or anything else she wants)

Takes one nap a day for 1-3 hours

Sleeps for 12 or more hours every night

Walks more than crawls

Goes to school 5 days a week, eats breakfast lunch and 2 snacks sitting at a table, naps on a cot

Gives high fives

Got tubes in both ears on January 4th (due to 7 ear infections in 6 months) did AWESOME during her surgery and has done great since

Crawls up stairs independently and walks down stairs holding someones hand

LOVES all of her family but still favors GiGi, Uncle Jake, and Mama!!

Self Feeding

I figured out how to put the spoon in my mouth with food on it not long ago..while I am still not the best I am successful at times!

Daddy renamed me Rocky last week when I had a fight with the table at school..

We rang in the new year by helping Daddy celebrate another year! We played, opened presents, and went out to eat that day. I love you Daddy!

Bertha and I have a love hate relationship..well those are Mama's words anyway :) Here are couple of pictures of us when we love each other. The last two are just of me when I first learned how to stand up from the crawl position!

December 30th, 2010 it was 64 degrees outside so Mama and I took advantage of it and went to the park to play!

Thank you to everyone for their generous gifts from Christmas. I know we are behind on updating the blog but there is a ton of activities from the middle of December to the middle of January for our family. Here are a few pictures of me helping Mama write my thank you cards. This is also my first time using crayons at home.
